Salvation Army Christmas Bell Ringing
  November 2007
Continues on through the Christmas season. Either as a family, with a group of friends or all by yourself you can ring bells to collect donations for the Salvation Army’s many helpful projects. Times and places vary. You can call Keri by November 1st to sign up for a session.
Souper Bowl Sunday -
  Super Bowl Sunday - February 3, 2008
This yearly national event utilizes Super Bowl Sunday to mobilize youth and families to fight hunger and poverty. Teens, kids, adults, and families volunteer to stand with pots and pans at the church entrances after each weekend Mass to collect money which will be given to our local food shelf.

30 Hour Famine
  February 22 and 23, 2008
The 30 hour famine is an international movement to fight hunger as well as the key to bringing youth closer to Christ and one another, while forever changing their perspective of those in need. Teens ask people to sponsor them for going without food for 30 hours. All money collected is sent to World Vision an international Christian relief agency. In addition, teens will do service in the Austin area during the famine.

Sharing & Caring Hands -

January 28, 2008
This project involves the entire parish by asking anyone who can to donate items to be delivered to the Sharing & Caring Hands Homeless Shelter. Always needed - blankets, toiletry items, bed sheets, household items and clothes of all sizes. A group of youth and adults will travel to Minneapolis to spend the day helping at the homeless shelter.

  Sr. High Summer 2008

Summer Festival is a week long camp held on college campuses for teenagers. Inspiring speakers, goofy games and off the wall skits make up a week you won't forget. Groups from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin come to join in the fun. Catholic and Protestant churches come together to experience the love of God and grace of Jesus Christ in this one week experience that stays with you for a life time.

Summer Grunge Days -
  July 16, 17, 23, 24 & 25, 2008

Open to Jr. High youth and some adults, this project brings youth into the community of Austin to do service at various sites. After a morning of work we gather for fun stuff, such as bowling, tubing on the Root River, movies, or swimming.
