Catch Fire… Life-Long Formation
In October 2004, the Austin Catholic Community
embraced a life-long faith formation program called CATCH FIRE. Each
month from October through May, all members of the tri-parish faith
community have opportunities to gather for a meal, prayer, and
catechetical sessions. After the meal, all ages are introduced to
the evening's topic, participate in a community building activity
and pray together, after which all ages study the topic with age
specific materials and lessons. All households that attend are given
Home Packs so they can extend the learning and prayer to the home by
providing handouts, prayers, flyers, etc. for all ages.
Catch Fire... is for everyone, all families - Catholic and Public
School students, singles, college students, retired people, empty
nesters, RCIA candidates, out-of-town visitors, EVERYONE!
Keep your eyes and ears open for news and
information so we can all Catch Fire… with the love
and excitement of our Catholic Christian faith.
